Working from a still life, students will learn basic principles such as light source, composition, perspective, pencil/brush handling, and the mental-physical process of creating. By working with a single subject, students will become familiar with the art of “seeing” and develop an eye for form and structure. The fun part is exploring how different mediums create a different look and feel at the same time. Get to know the intricacies of different mediums.

This is a great class for beginning to intermediate students who want to get back to creating or start creating in a supportive, fun and relaxed atmosphere. You will be taught tips and tricks that take the mystery out of the visual representation of ideas, thoughts and feelings while building your personal creative toolkit that will be the foundation of your future creative endeavors.
